The "long-rod" custom 2.7l S14 connecting rods are made of forged steel and designed with a special extended H-beam profile. The rods come with Custom Age 625 rod bolts. Small end bushings are CuBe (Copper-Beryllium). Tensile strength in rods have been simulated via FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and optimized for our 2.7l rotating assembly which includes the 2.7l crank, 2.7l pistons and 2.7l rods. Endurance tested in our 2.7l S14 engines with engine speeds of 9000 rpm.
These rods are available exclusively for our 2.7l S14 engines.
